Rejoice and be amazed.” This is what Maria Hörnelius wrote in the book “Kent Andersson: visor, dikter, ballader” published by the publishing house Tre böcker. Some of the lyrics and poems in the book are found on this CD. Musically this production contains classic works from the 1960s written by Sven-Eric Johansson and Alf Hambe, but it also contains more recent musical settings by Bernt Andersson from variety productions at Teater Aftonstjärnan in Göteborg. Kent spent his last ten years there as lyricist and given leading actor. Beside Maria singing, Bernt playing the accordion and piano and Kjell playing the double bass, you can also enjoy Rolf Jardemark’s and Bengan Blomgrens’s guitar play and strings sounding by Livet Nord and Lotten Zimmergren and also rhythmical drums by Gunnar Petersson.
