Mool is a group that creates a musical landscape of sensuality, humour, sincerity, joy, melancholy and unlimited fantasy.
Mool truly come into their own during their live set, where improvisation and communication is central and guides the music in different directions every time. Mool's unique sound comprises of an expansive palette of digital and acoustic music and sometimes noise. In an open harmonic soundscape, with a strong sense of rhythm, they carefully carry the melodies that sometimes instantly make thrilling vocal jumps and turns.
The members in Mool are experienced in a wide range of genres including jazz, swedish and balkan folk music, arabic music, performance and rock. They nourish a wish to create music free of genre with a rhythmical soul.
The majority of the songs are ready-made compositions which have been arranged by the members in a collective process, but some of the songs are built upon group improvisations.
